On April 29, 2020, the scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting of the project Research and Development of High-end Ceramic Materials and Sealing Rings and Their Application in Large-scale Active Phased Array Radar was held in Ningbo, and Ningbo FLK is one of major project participants. The appraisal committee composed of nine experts, including academician Gao Jinji, academician Tan Jianrong, academician Yang Huayong and academician Shan Zhongde, spoke highly of the scientific and technological achievements. The experts agreed that the overall technology of the project reached the international advanced level and the key technical indicators reached the international leading level. Remarkable national defense and social and economic benefits have been achieved.
Unlike the past, in the special times of pandemic, in addition to the expert team showed up at the meeting, there is also a remote expert team represented by Academician Wang Yuming. For the first time, the advanced appraisal meeting mode of on-site appraisal + cloud appraisal was adopted. It not only realized the appraising of scientific and technological achievements, but also took into account the work of epidemic prevention and control.
