The "Key Techniques and Engineering Applications of New High-End Pump Mechanical Seal" project jointly completed by our company, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Dandong Cloning Group won the first prize of the Anhui Science and Technology Progress Award.
   
The project successfully addressed the challenges of low reliability and short service life of mechanical seals used in nuclear-grade pumps and petrochemical plant pumps under harsh conditions of high temperature, high pressure, and high radiation. The outcomes of the project have promoted the autonomy of many key pump mechanical seals in China's nuclear power and petrochemical sectors, breaking the technological monopoly of foreign countries in this field and significantly enhancing the overall technical level of China's high-end pump mechanical seal industry.
